1. Switch off the electricity. Make sure that all power cords and wires are unplugged from the wall before proceeding with the replacement of your 508036 Bertazzoni Range Thermocouple 1400MM.
2. Remove the range top and oven door. On some models, you may need to remove screws and hinges. Place the door and top aside.
3. Locate the thermocouple. The thermocouple is usually located at the rear of the stove, near the gas inlet pipe.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the connection nuts that secure the thermocouple to the gas valve.
5. Pull out the old thermocouple and discard it.
6. Install the new thermocouple by inserting it in the same place as the old one.
7. Secure the new thermocouple into the gas valve with the connection nuts.
8. Turn on the power and check that the thermocouple is working correctly by turning on the stove and checking for proper lighting and/or heat regulation.
9. Reattach the range top and oven door.
