Step 1: Before you start, unplug the appliance as a safety precaution.

Step 2: Remove the screws from the back of the oven itself that hold the metal panel in place, then carefully pull out the old bake element.

Step 3: Clean the metal plate to make sure all the old residue is removed before installing the new element.

Step 4: Carefully insert the new bake element, check the wattage numbers, and then replace the back metal panel. Secure it with the screws again.

Step 5: Connect the electrical wires to the new element. Make sure they're properly secured.

Step 6: Test the element by turning on the oven and setting it to 350 degrees. If it’s heating up evenly, then the replacement was successful.

Step 7: Finally, plug the appliance back in and enjoy your new bake element.
