1. Turn off the power to the stovetop and unplug it from the wall outlet.
2. Use an adjustable wrench to remove the nut that holds the Avanti Products G20A01-040200-2 LARGE BURNER W/COVER in place.
3. Carefully lift the burner and cover off the stovetop.
4. Inspect the metal connections on the back of the burner to ensure they are in good condition.
5. If the connections are corroded, then you may need to clean them with a wire brush.
6. Place the new burner and cover into the same position then secure the nut back in place using the adjustable wrench.
7. Plug the stovetop back into the wall outlet and turn the power back on.
8. Test the new burner by turning the knobs and checking for proper ignition.
