Step 1: Prepare for your project by gathering the necessary tools and safety gear. You will need a standard set of wrenches, a cutting device such as a hacksaw or utility knife, a small flathead screwdriver, a file, a brush, a pair of gloves and safety glasses.

Step 2: Disconnect your refrigeration system from the power source. This should be done to prevent accidental electrocution.
