WPW10337934 Whirlpool Spring Assembly
The Dishwasher Door Spring applies tension to the dishwasher door through the door hinge to prevent the door from dropping too quickly when you open the dishwasher. Use caution when installing the door spring because the spring is under tension and could snap. To access the part, you'll need to remove the screws that mount the dishwasher to the counter top. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner* (item W10282479) to help remove limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher’s performance. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
