Replacing the Whirlpool Refrigerator LED Light Module (Part W11043011)
If your refrigerator is not lighting up properly, you may need to replace the LED light module located in the fresh food section. Follow these steps to replace the part yourself and get your refrigerator lighting up again.
Materials Needed:
-Part W11043011 (Whirlpool Refrigerator LED Light Module)
-Needle-nose pliers
-Flathead screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Unplug your refrigerator from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the shelving from the inside of the refrigerator.
3. Locate the LED light module (part W11043011) in the upper left corner of the refrigerator.
4. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screws holding the module in place.
5. Carefully pull out the module, disconnecting it from the wiring harness.
6. Remove the wire connectors with needle-nose pliers.
7. Connect the new module to the wire connectors and re-secure it into place with the removed screws.
8. Replace the shelving and plug the refrigerator back in.
9. Check the light to ensure it is working properly.
