Step 1: Unplug the range from the wall outlet and remove the burner grate.
Step 2: Locate the screws holding the burner cap in place. Remove the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 3: Gently lift the old burner cap off of the range and set it aside.
Step 4: Place the new Whirlpool W10832694 CAP-BURNER onto the range, making sure that all four screws fit into the holes.
Step 5: Tighten the screws using the Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 6: Replace the burner grate and plug the range back into the wall outlet.
Step 7: Test the burner to ensure that it is working properly.
