Step-by-Step Instructions to Replace the Whirlpool W10535950 Microwave Grease Filter
1. Unplug the microwave from the power outlet.
2. Remove the existing filter by sliding it out from the edge of the frame on either side of the louvered grill inside the opening of the filter.
3. Slide in the new W10535950 Whirlpool Microwave Grease Filter into the same slot where the old filter was removed.
4. Plug the microwave back into the power outlet.
5. Test the filter to make sure it is working correctly by running the microwave on high power for a few seconds. If the filter is working correctly, the heat generated will be distributed throughout the cooking chamber.
