Step 1 - Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply.
Step 2 - Remove all food, shelves, and drawers from the inside.
Step 3 - Remove the back panel of the refrigerator by removing the screws, located in the bottom corners.
Step 4 - Locate the 12002799 Whirlpool Refrigerator Electronic Control Board and disconnect the wiring harness.
Step 5 - Install the new 12002799 Whirlpool Refrigerator Electronic Control Board and reconnect the wiring harness.
Step 6 - Reinstall the back panel of the refrigerator with the screws removed in Step 3.
Step 7 - Plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet and turn on the water supply.
Step 8 - Replace all food, shelves, and drawers back into the refrigerator.
