Step 1: Unplug your refrigerator and turn off the water supply before you start the repair.
Step 2: Remove the screws holding the old water tank in place, usually situated at the top of the refrigerator or at the base of the refrigerator.
Step 3: Take out the old water tank and discard it.
Step 4: Before inserting the new Whirlpool 12002023 KIT, WATER TANK, make sure it is compatible with your refrigerator model.
Step 5: Place the new tank in position and fasten it in place with the provided screws.
Step 6: Connect the water tubing from the tank to the refrigerator water outlet. Make sure the connection is secure and water tight.
Step 7: Turn back on the water supply and plug in your refrigerator.
Step 8: Run some water through the new water tank and check for any leaks.
Step 9: After ensuring there are no leaks, and water is flowing properly, you can enjoy your cold refreshing water!
