Replacing the 5304509706 Frigidaire Range Oven Ignitor
1. Shut off the power to your range. If your range only has one power switch, unplug it. If you have a dual power switch, turn the correct switch off to shut of the electricity to the oven.
2. Remove the cover from the rear of the oven. This will expose the ignitor that needs to be replaced.
3. Reach up into the oven and carefully unhook the ignitor wires. The wires are connected to the bottom of the ignitor with a small plastic clip.
4. Use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the mounting bracket that holds the old ignitor in place. Gently pull the old ignitor out of the oven.
5. Take the new ignitor and attach the wires with the plastic clips. Make sure the clips are tight and secure.
6. Attach the mounting bracket over the new ignitor and secure it with the screwdriver.
7. Put the cover back on the rear of the oven and make sure it is secure.
8. Turn the power back on to the oven and test the ignitor. The flame should ignite once the bake button is pressed.
