Step by Step Instructions on Replacing a 5304442175 Frigidaire Door Latch Assembly, Black
1. Unplug the fridge from its power source.
2. Open the refrigerator door and locate the existing latch assembly. It is located inside the top left corner of the door.
3. Use a Phillips Head screwdriver to remove the mounting screws from the existing latch assembly.
4. Disconnect the wire harness from the latch assembly.
5. Take the new latch assembly and attach the wire harness to the corresponding slot.
6. Line up the mounting holes on the new latch assembly with the mounting holes on the door and insert the mounting screws.
7. Tighten the screws until the latch assembly is secure in place.
8. Plug your refrigerator back into the power source.
9. Test the new latch assembly by opening and closing the fridge door.
