Step 1:Turn off the water to the washing machine. Open the shutoff valves or turn off the designated circuit breaker in order to completely cut off power to the washer.
Step 2:Unplug the washer from the outlet and remove any hoses or cords connected to the machine.
Step 3:Fully open the machine's access panel to expose the inner workings of the washer.
Step 4:Locate the Speed Queen 203741 valve and note its connection point. Unscrew and remove the part with a wrench or pliers.
Step 5:Clean the area surrounding the removed valve with warm soapy water and a cloth.
Step 6:Set the new Speed Queen 203741 valve into place, latching it to the corresponding connection points.
Step 7:Tighten the valve into place with the wrench or pliers.
Step 8:Close the washer's access panel before plugging the washer back into the outlet.
Step 9:Reattach any hoses or cords that were disconnected during the process.
Step 10:Turn on the water supply to the washer and press the "Power" button to turn on the machine.
