Replacing the Speed Queen 203575W LID, TLW (HOME LID LOCK)
1. Start by turning off the power to the tumble dryer.
2. Open the lid and use a screwdriver to unscrew the plastic caps from the top of the lid.
3. Now remove the screws holding the control panel in place, and carefully lift the control panel upwards.
4. Remove the screws at the back of the lid that hold the locking mechanism in place.
5. Remove the locking mechanism and set it aside.
6. Lift the existing lid off of the dryer and set it aside.
7. Place the new lid on the dryer, making sure it is aligned properly.
8. Place the locking mechanism onto the new lid, and secure it with the screws.
9. Place the control panel back onto the dryer and secure it with the screws.
10. Lastly, secure the plastic caps to the top of the lid.
11. Turn the power back on and test the new lid locking mechanism.
You have now successfully replaced the Speed Queen 203575W LID, TLW (HOME LID LOCK).
