1. Disconnect the power supply to the LG washer before starting any repairs.
2. Unscrew the front panel of the washer. Be sure to note and remember how many screws are used and where they are located as you will need them later.
3. Remove the old door boot seal gasket by carefully prying it off and disconnecting any attached hoses or wires.
4. Clean and dry off the surface where the new door boot seal gasket will be placed.
5. Place the new door boot seal gasket in place and re-connect any hoses and wires to it.
6. Re-screw the front panel of the washer and reconnect the power supply.
7. Test the washer by running a load of wash and ensuring that the seal is properly seated and that no leaks occur.
8. Once the washer is functioning properly, document your work and save the details for future reference.
