Step 1: Begin by gathering the necessary tools for the repair process. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver and needle nose pliers.
Step 2: Disconnect the LG EBR79609807 from all power sources and allow it to cool completely before beginning your repair.
Step 3: Using your Phillips screwdriver, remove all of the screws on the back panel of the device. Carefully lift off the panel and set aside.
Step 4: Use the flathead screwdriver to carefully pry off the PCB Assembly, Main and disconnect all wires that are connected to the board.
Step 5: With the needle nose pliers, carefully remove the remaining screws that hold the board in place.
Step 6: Take your new PCB Assembly, Main and line it up with the slots and holes in the device. Carefully insert the screws in the designated areas, making sure they are secure.
Step 7: Reattach the wires to the board and ensure that all connections are tight.
Step 8: Reattach the back panel and use your Phillips screwdriver to secure the screws in their original positions.
