Replacing the AJQ73413809 LG Outer Tub Assembly
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Shut off the water supply to the washing machine.
3. Disconnect the hoses from the hot and cold water inlets on the back of the washer.
4. Remove the top cover of the washer by removing the screws around the edges of the cover.
5. Loosen the screws holding the inner tub in place and carefully lift it out of the washer.
6. Remove the screws that are securing the outer tub assembly to the washer frame.
7. Lift out the old outer tub assembly and set aside.
8. Place the new outer tub assembly inside the washer frame and secure it with screws.
9. Replace the inner tub and secure it with the screws.
10. Reattach the top cover of the washer and secure with the screws.
11. Reconnect the hot and cold water inlets with the hoses and make sure all connections are tight.
12. Turn on the water supply to the washing machine.
13. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
14. Reset the washing machine control settings, select the desired cycle and start the wash.
