1. Turn off the power supply to the LG dishwasher. Make sure to unplug the appliance or turn off breaker if it is hardwired.
2. Open the door of the LG dishwasher and locate the draining hose assembly. It will be near the bottom right corner of the dishwasher.
3. Disconnect the hose clamps from the ports and remove the drain hose assembly. Make sure to label the hoses to avoid confusion when reconnecting them later.
4. Remove any remaining part of the old AEM74512901 drain hose assembly and clean the interior of the dishwasher with a damp cloth.
5. Securely attach the new drain hose assembly to the inlet and outlet ports with the clamps supplied.
6. Verify that the new drain hose assembly is firmly secured, then plug in the power supply for the dishwasher.
