DIY Instructions on Replacing the 3920DD3005A LG Dishwasher Door Seal Gasket
1. Unplug the power cord from your LG dishwasher. Make sure there is no power running to the dishwasher.
2. Remove the exterior side panels for access to the door seal. If you can't find screws, the panels might be held in place with clips or plastic snaps.
3. Pull the old seal up and off the dishwasher door. Use caution when doing this, as some of the seals have adhesive on the back.
4. Clean the mounting surface where the seal will be installed. Make sure any adhesive residue from the old seal is removed.
5. Place the new seal on the door, starting at the bottom and working your way up. Pay attention to the placement of the new seal to ensure it will fit correctly.
6. Secure the seal by pressing firmly across the entire surface.
7. Reattach the exterior panels, making sure all the clips are properly secured.
8. Plug the LG dishwasher power cord back into the outlet and test the dishwasher to make sure it functions correctly.
