Replacing the Fresh Food Shelf on a GE WR17X30024 Refrigerator
Instructions:
1. Begin by unplugging your refrigerator from the power source to make sure there is no danger of electric shock when you are working on the appliance.
2. Locate the fresh food shelf inside the compartment and remove it by lifting it up and out. It should be held in place with a few mounting brackets on either side.
3. Once the shelf is removed, examine the replacement shelf that came with your purchase and ensure that it is the correct model number.
4. Slide the replacement shelf into place. Make sure that the mounting brackets fit properly into the grooves on either side of the shelf.
5. Secure the shelf in place using the provided screws if necessary. Be sure not to overtighten the screws, as this could cause damage to the shelf or the internal components of the refrigerator.
6. Check to make sure that the shelf is properly secured and level before plugging the refrigerator back into the power source.
Please keep in mind, these instructions are for general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
