1. Shut off the power to your unit by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker.

2. Disconnect the wires from the rear of the timer. Remove the screws holding the timer in place and take out the timer.

3. Inspect the new GE WE01X20375 timer knob for any damage and make sure it’s the correct replacement part for your appliance.

4. Remove the old timer knob by unscrewing it, if necessary.

5. Place the new timer knob onto the shaft of the timer and tighten it securely using a screwdriver.

6. Reconnect the wires to the rear of the timer and put back the screws that were removed.

7. Plug in the appliance or switch on the circuit breaker to restore power the unit.

8. Test the new timer knob to make sure it works properly by turning the knob to the settings you need.
