Step 1: Unplug the power cord to your GE WD21X25696 Control Board. Make sure to unplug for safety purposes before beginning to work.
Step 2: Remove the Control Board Fuse Cover. Locate the fuse near the power cord; it is usually on the back of the control board. With a Phillips Screwdriver, remove the cover by unfastening all the screws. After this process is complete, the cover should come off without difficulty.
Step 3: Take out the old fuse and replace it with a new 4.1 Amp Fuse. The 4.1 Amp Fuse is what is necessary to replace the old one. Carefully remove the old fuse from the fuse clamp and replace it with the new one.
Step 4: Reattach the Fuse Cover and Plug in the Power Cord. Once the new fuse is in place and secure, you can reinstall the fuse cover and fasten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Reconnect the power cord, and you are done!
