Instructions for Replacing a GE WD19X25466 Diverter Assembly
1. Shut off the water supply to the sink by turning off the valves located under the sink.
2. Drain the remaining water in the sink by opening the faucet. This can be done by pulling out the diverter valve near the faucet handle.
3. Place a towel or pan to catch the remaining water and avoid mess.
4. Unscrew the two hex nuts (or Phillips screws) on the underside of the sink.
5. Disconnect the quick-connect fittings at either end of the old diverter assembly.
6. Remove the old diverter assembly from the sink by pulling it out and disposing of it.
7. Take the new diverter assembly and insert it into the hole where the old one came out.
8. Connect the quick-connect fittings on the ends of the new diverter assembly.
9. Reinstall the two hex nuts (or Phillips screws) on the underside of the sink.
10. Turn the water supply to the sink by turning on the valves under the sink.
11. Test the new diverter assembly for proper operation.
