1. Turn off the power supply to the range or stove at the breaker box by flipping the switch to the "off" position.
2. Disconnect the electrical wiring and/or burner element from the stove top using a flat head screwdriver.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws in the burner unit and lift the 3 wire 8 inch WB30X354 GE Range Stove Cooktop Burner Unit away from the stovetop.
4. Carefully remove any remaining pieces from the burner unit, such as the burner caps and burner rings.
5. Check the fit of the new WB30X354 GE Range Stove Cooktop Burner Unit by inserting it into the slot where the old one was removed from.
6. Secure the burner with the supplied screws to ensure it is firmly in place.
7. Reconnect the electrical wiring and/or burner element to the stove top.
8. Turn the power supply back on at the breaker box by flipping the switch to the "on" position.
9. Test the new burner unit to make sure it is functioning properly.
