If your range’s igniter is no longer providing a spark to light the burner, the wire may be shorted out or the porcelain casing may be cracked. Replacing the part may alleviate these issues. Be mindful not to lose the two burner wires inside the appliance when you detach them from the old burner head. To install the new part, simply insert it into the burner head and secure it with two screws.
