Fuses often blow due to a clogged dryer vent, so make sure you clean out this vent when installing the new part. This complete kit includes (1) thermal fuse, (1) high limit thermostat, (2) lead wires and (4) mounting screws. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools and some disassembly of the dryer. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
