The Gas Range Surface Burner Igniter Clip holds the surface burner igniter in place. If the existing clip in your appliance is broken and no longer holding the igniter properl ...y, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To access the part, remove your burner grates, burners and burner caps. Then remove the burner screws. Use a putty knife under the stove top to release the locking clips holding it in place and then lift up the top of the range. Each clip is sold separately. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
