In o ...rder to access the part, you'll remove the screws securing the top control panel of the washer, lift that back and use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull out the catch that holds the timer knob in. Remove the old knob by pulling it straight off its post. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience.
