The Wall Hood Chimney Extension Kit has a stainless steel finish and extends your kitchen 36" hood in a 48" opening. Simply install the extension panel to each side of the hoo ...d main unit and fasten the hood extension panel to the cabinet. The kit includes (2) extension panels and (8) installation screws and must be assembled to the range hood prior to mounting the hood to the cabinet. This kit is designed to be used with several standard hood brands; check to see if your model is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range hood and novice repair experience.
