DIY: How to Replace the Bosch 11016939 Frequency Filter

1. Gather the necessary tools. To replace the Bosch 11016939 frequency filter, you will need a flat head screwdriver, pliers, and a new Bosch 11016939 frequency filter.

2. Turn off the power. Before beginning any repair or maintenance on an electrical appliance, always make sure to disconnect the power at its source or turn off the circuit breaker.

3. Remove the panels. Using your flat head screwdriver, remove the screws holding the side and/or back panel of your appliance in place. Carefully remove any insulation that may be behind the panel.

4. Locate the filter. Look for a rectangular-shaped plastic box with wires connected to it. This is the frequency filter.

5. Disconnect the wires. Using your pliers, gently remove the wires connected to the frequency filter. Make sure to note where each one is connected to avoid confusion later.

6. Remove the old filter. Once the wires are disconnected, take the flat head screwdriver and remove the screws that are holding the filter in place. Carefully pull the filter out and discard it.

7. Install the new filter. Carefully insert the new filter into the same location as the old one and secure it using the screws.

8. Connect the wires. Reconnect the wires to the new filter in the same order as they were connected to the old one.

9. Replace the panels. Replace the insulation and the side and/or back panels and secure them with the screws.

10. Turn on the power. Restore the power to the appliance by turning on the circuit breaker or reconnecting it to the power source.

You have now successfully replaced the Bosch 11016939 frequency filter.
