1. Gather your tools and supplies: a flat-head screwdriver, replacement burner grate (Whirlpool W10177293), and a vacuum
2. Unplug the range before starting the project.
3. Remove the old burner grate by using a flat-head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold it in place.
4. Vacuum out any dirt or debris from the area to ensure a clean workspace.
5. Line up the new burner grate with the existing holes in the top of the range.
6. Secure the new burner grate in place by tightening the screws that hold it in place.
7. Plug the range back in and test the new burner grate by lighting the burners.
8. Replace the old burner grate in a separate trash bag for safe disposal.
