STEP 1: Shut down power to the appliance.
To replace the Frigidaire 5304508441 Capacitor safely, you must first shut off all power supply to the appliance. You must turn off the circuit breaker or unplug the machine from the wall outlet to ensure your safety while working on the appliance.
STEP 2: Remove the old capacitor.
Once the power is turned off, use an appropriate tool to remove the mounting screws and take off the panel that covers the capacitor. Unplug the fan motor’s power cable from the capacitor and disconnect the two wires connected to the capacitor terminals. Lastly, remove the old Frigidaire 5304508441 capacitor from its place.
STEP 3: Install the new capacitor.
Next, you have to install the new capacitor. Replace the capacitor with a new, compatible one. Reconnect the fan motor’s power cable to the capacitor, then attach the two wires to the capacitor terminals. Make sure the wiring is secure and properly connected.
