DIY Guide to Replacing the Samsung DE81-08853A SVC-KIT DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY
1. Begin by turning off the power to your washing machine and unplugging it from the wall.
2. Open the top of the washing machine and remove the inner plastic tub, if necessary.
3. Remove the screws holding the front panel in place. Then, remove the front panel and set it aside.
4. Release the clips on either side of the door latch and remove the old latch.
5. Insert the new latch into the same holes and secure it with the new clips.
6. Reinstall the front panel and secure it with the screws removed in Step 3.
7. Replace the inner plastic tub and close the top of the washing machine.
8. Plug the washing machine back into the wall and turn the power back on.
