Replacing the DC97-14976A Samsung Washer Drain Pump Filter Assembly
Tools Needed:
• Phillips screwdriver
• Pliers
• Wrench
Instructions:
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply to the washer.
2. Remove the screws from the back panel of the washer with a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Take off the back panel of the washer and locate the drain pump filter assembly.
4. Disconnect the water pipes connected to the old drain pump filter assembly using pliers.
5. Unscrew the mounting screws holding the drain pump filter assembly in place with a wrench.
6. Remove the old drain pump filter assembly and discard it.
7. Install the new DC97-14976A Samsung Washer Drain Pump Filter Assembly in place of the old one.
8. Connect the water pipes to the drain pump filter assembly.
9. Secure the drain pump filter assembly to the washer with the mounting screws.
10. Replace the back panel of the washer and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
11. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the water supply to the washer.
12. Test the washer to make sure it is working properly.
