DIY Instructions: How to Replace the Frigidaire 5304409888 P-1 Terminal Block with Hardware
Tools Needed:
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Flathead Screwdriver
• Voltage Tester
• Pliers
• 6-32 Terminal Screws
Step 1: Unscrew the existing Frigidaire 5304409888 P-1 terminal block. To do this, turn the small metal screw provided at the top of the Frigidaire unit counterclockwise. Use a Phillips head screwdriver if needed.
Step 2: Use a voltage tester to make sure that there is no power running through the wiring.
Step 3: Pull the old terminal block away from the wiring. Make sure to be careful and not break any wires.
Step 4: Cut off the old terminal block and discard.
Step 5: Take the new 6-32 Terminal Screws and attach them to the wiring. Make sure to use a flathead screwdriver to securely fasten each wire.
Step 6: Attach the new Frigidaire 5304409888 P-1 terminal block to the wiring. Secure it with the small metal screw provided.
Step 7: Run a voltage test and make sure all connections are secure and functioning correctly.
