Replacing the Whirlpool WP3391912 THRMST-FIX
Instructions
1. Before you begin, make sure to unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
2. Locate the thermal fuse on the rear of the unit. It is typically on the back near the wall.
3. Remove the two screws that attach the thermal fuse to the appliance.
4. Disconnect the two wires attached to the thermal fuse.
5. Take the thermal fuse to an appliance parts store and purchase a replacement.
6. Once you have a new thermal fuse, connect the two wires to the appropriate terminals on the new part.
7. Secure the new thermal fuse to the appliance using the same two screws you removed earlier.
8. Plug the appliance back into the power outlet and turn it on to test the temperature.
9. If the temperature is stable, the repair is complete.
